Change Day is about doing something, no matter how big or small, to improve the healthcare experience for every Kiwi. This week, members from Geneva Healthcare visited Bupa’s Remuera Care Home for a fun-filled morning of trivia questions and laughter.
Shane King, Geneva’s Temporary and Permanent Staffing Manager was accompanied by Lana, Geneva Temporary Staffing Services Consultant, and Solon, Geneva Recruitment Administrator, who also brought along yummy savouries for the residents’ morning tea.
“Change Day provided us the perfect opportunity to do something special for Bupa, one of our longest standing client relationships. It was great engaging with the residents from Bupa Remuera Care Home and challenging all of our brains with some very tricky quiz questions!.”, says Shane.
The quiz featured questions like: “what is the name of the fictional town where Coronation Street is set?”, and “what tree’s leaf is featured on the flag of Canada?” The winner received a special gift hamper which was full of delicious goodies to share with friends.
“It was a great opportunity for us to build relations with Geneva who provide skilled staff to facilities when required. It is important to have outside agencies who understand Bupa’s business, work ethics and values.
